What was the focus of this small groups` activity before the unusual events occurred?

THE focus of their activity was to Pray. Jesus went up in the mountains together with Peter,John and James. Jesus wanted to Pray alone in that mountain in order for Him to talk to His Father- Our GOD. When these things happened that the glory of GOD transfigured in JESUS,Peter,John and James were lucky enough to saw this.They saw Moses and Elijah in glory together with Jesus talking about the departure of Jesus that was going to be fullfiled in Jeruzalem.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Jesus loves us , He gave his life to wash away our sin . He value lowly people bec. they are the one who need guidance. As the mother have said he love most " The one that is sick until he is well , the one that is lost until he is found" if one of my kids is hurt my attention is drawn to them in a particular way , and Jesus want us his children to do is to help the hurting one.
