jesus was presented in the temple yes i strongly believe that the presentation of jesus in the temple was a divine direction by the holyspirit ,just look at the case of simeon a devout christian and filled with the holyspirit he was so desirous to see the MESSIA for a purpose and he knew for sure that seeing the lord will be a thing of joy and to fullfill what the law says.

What was Mary feeling in her heart after she heard the report from shepherd about many singing angels? Mary might have been very happy after she had heard the report of the shepherd because it just confirmed that her child was really the messiah.
