Compassion is overcoming barriers or a veil that divides us from getting to know a person and finding out if he has needs.Without compassion we will never have the determination and perserverence necessary to understand one another.We will never have the courage to move into another person's life to understand his pain without getting defensive.

When you have Jesus in you the Holy Spirit, will break through your heart to see the pain in others. He will ignite the compassion in you to change the world around us. If you do not have the Holy Spirit in you, you may not want to have a part .You may move forward reluctantly or abate from the scene.

If you are brought up in a heartless home you may not have compassion at all or you may fear the experience and shy away.
