IT was in God's plan that Judas lost faith in Jesus. Jesus was not the messiah Judas expected. So Judas started to find fault with the things Jesus said and did.

 Judas thought, Jesus would lead Israel to war against the Romans. Judas' political and socio-economic thoughts came to zero. He had an indifferent attitude to Jesus on what was written in The Old Testament about the messiah,Jesus.

So with Satan entering his body, Judas started to steal money,perhaps for his own greed and planned to hand Jesus over to the Chief Priest and elders.
