Until the end Jesus showed He came to earth for a righteous cause. He proved he was filled with love to change people of the earth around and he showed us love first. So he showed his compassion by healing the ear and simultaneously saved Peter from attack by the officials.

Would you arrest someone that who you just saw heal a man`s ear- when the ear was cut off and healed right before your eyes? I would not because only God can heal issues like that. Here Jesus is God.

Jesus said: "Pray that you don`t enter into temptation." What is temptation? Temptation draws you away from God and His teachings and you change your direction to your overwhelming personal desires viz.,gambling,immoral activities,laziness and slumbering.
