Jesus speaks so strongly against anger because i guess anger makes a person commit sin without them knowing it. We should learn to forgive to avoid being angry with someone as Jesus teaches us.........

In what ways are Jesus` followers salt and light to the world?

Jesus' followers are light and salt to the world by setting personal example, as Christ did. Through shedding light to others - letting the world see themselves, they'll find a way to reflect at their inner selves, and see their true nature. Salt is very important to cater good taste. It serves as a healing agent to the sick. It preserves something not to rot. It serves as a solvent that adds zest. As a salt, Jesus' followers give taste to the world. They are the one's that pray for those who have not found yet their personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They are the one's who reach people to Christ. They are the one's who tries to the best of their capacity to honor God in their lives as good examples in thoughts and in deeds despite their weaknesses. They are the one's who face battles each day to be good rather than to follow evil. They are the one's who struggle to resist Satan's trap each day in their lives. They, in spite of their limitations, try to uphold what is upright in God's sight. So, people can see the light, taste the salt, and finally, join to be one!
