It simply means that we are his children and He is our Father.

God's love for us is unconditional. He simply loves us even though we are sinners. He loves us so much that he had too send his only son Jesus to save us.

In 2003, I found myself crying after watching 'Jesus of Nazareth'. Then a miracle happened. I was overcome with joy and stopped crying...the Holy Spirit told me that Christ is alive...so alive in us...in me. Over the next few years, I started evangelizing and speaking of Jesus' love for me. I never read the bible before this. The Holy Spirit guided me as I read a verse of scripture each day. I was so filled with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. I began to see and treat my colleagues and people around me with more love and respect. Then temptation came and went. I was tested. I almost gave up on Jesus when I was raped in 2006. Had it not been for Jesus, I would have forgotten God's love for me. I went through healing for two full years where I realized I bore the physical mark of the beast on my right hand. Because the Holy Spirit lives in me still, I found the strength to release it into the sea where it belonged. Spiritually I saw a demon with horns instead of a man when I was raped. That is because I asked for the precious blood of Jesus to cover me that night. As I am writing this, I feel my courage coming back. I was so afraid that it would come back. In August 2009, I was delivered from the spirit of lust by the power of Jesus name. I'm glad He rescued me.

GOD will love us unconditionaly. GOD love us for who we are. we are called to obey god but even if we fail to do so GOD will love us dearly.john 3;16 is a great example and the greatest love of all.
