Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? Jesus will not tolerate sin. He did not want the people to defile the Holy temple of God. The people would have just carried on their wicked ways if he had not taken such a dramatic action against them.
