Jesus exaggerates to makes the point that one should eliminate things that cause one to sin (disobey God). What things might you eliminate to be more spiritually healthy?

Living in this land of the living makes it a little hard to continuously be spiritually healthy and good and be sinless because we are humans, with our own weaknesses and iniquities. But with our conscious determination to be pleasing to God and continuously asking the Holy Spirit to take charge of us, with His grace and mercy we can persevere. To be more spiritually healthy, we should forego our pride, our selfish ego, our laziness or lackadaisical faith, our weaknesses and iniquities. But we cannot do this on our own. We need God's strength, grace and power. Bottomline, we really need God to persevere and be spiritually healthy! We should continue to pray and ask His grace and mercy every moment of our lives.

To me, it means to wholeheartly have faith and trust in Lord Jesus and He will do everything for us.

It means anything we do in Jesus' name, happens or is done thru His power, His grace, and not on our own. And we are surrendering it all up to Him, invoking His will be done.
