Bible never mentioned in detail about Mary & Joseph marriage. Why is that so? If they were married they should not be afraid and ran away from home

What was Mary feeling right before Jesus´ birth? Note: She is described here as an unwed pregnant woman, who was forced to travel away from her family, only to deliver her baby in a barn? she felt scared because women at that time as an unwed pregnant would be accused & committed adultery and must be punished till dead. But on the other hand she believed that God will surely help her to be able to pass through it all.
