When we love others, nations recognize us and say they are the Believers of Christ. Dear All, The topic of this lession of Jesus Cental course is Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?. As Jesus said that love one another, love your neighbour as you love yourself. God so loved the world that He gave His son Jesus Christ to be crucified so whoever receive Him as their savior could not die and live and eternal life. This basic reason of God to send His son that He loves the world. Jesus said that if you believe Me it means you believe whom who send Me mean God. So Jesus said that love another becasue when you love each other it means you love Me and when you love Me it means you love God who sends Me. That is why Jesus call Love One Another. Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus calls "Love One Another" a "New" commandment because it has been instituted by Him. In the Old Testament Moses received the Ten Commandments which states first and foremost Love for God - to Love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength but Christ stated that over and above the Law of the Ten Commandments - Loving your neighbour as yourself is the most important as this love will show that we are the followers of Christ - that we love even those who hurt us. Christ gave the greatest example of this love by forgiving those who tortured and crucified Him - He asked his father to forgive them as they did not know what they were doing. Love is not bitter, it does not envy - it is always forgiving. God dwells in all of us and by loving each other, we show our love for God.
