"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" I believe that Jesus has accomplished all the puposes what God the father had for Him.Even today He is doing everthng what He had done in thousand of years ago.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? Obedience to Jesus links intimacy with Him because He Himself was obedient to His father,God.He had been teaching us to be obedient to God to know the will of God.Obedient to Jesus means to walk and to do the things according to the will of God.This is not a new commandment.This commandment followed since old Testament time.
