He meant that everything was complete .He is the alpha and the omega the before his coming there was our sin which made us incomplete and fall short of God's grace.but its our Lord Jesus who brought us back to God by purchasing us with his blood & forgiving us for our sins thus completing the work he had come for in this earth . What is the blessing that comes to those who have not seen and yet believe?

Why do you think Jesus chose to appear to the disciples in this way? To show that there is no one else in this world beside HIM to whom we can lean on and completedly healed and helped in the time of struggle, fear, discourage, weak and hard time. He is enough for us for everything.
