But as Jesus said that love your enemies, pray for those who hurt us, if we follow them we will have great reward from God, the heavenly father. But Jesus answered them, "My Father is working still, and I am working." St.John,5;17. My only request to God is to permit me too to participate in His working. SOMAR,INDIA Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked? Jesus instructed His followers to react passively to let what the prophet said to come true and another thing is that reacting passively when attact shows humbleness, obedient.Jesus thought and practiced to be humle and obedient.
