Jesus took three of his disciples to the top of a mountain to experience dead prophets now alive, and a voice from a cloud saying, "This is my beloved Son, listen to him." If you were one of the disciples, what impact would this experience have on you?

It is difficult to answer. Jesus took only three of His Disciples. who He knew were able to experience this revealation of Jesus. . So if I were there and Jesus took me with Him, knowing that I would be able to respond to this great revealation. I am sure, I would have prostrated before Him and said, My God, my Lord" halleluia!!

Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

I understand it this way[ Never thought about it] It was preplanned that Jesus will come down on earth and take up punishment that is due to mankind. He accepted accursed deathand hewas buried and resurrected. When we accept and acknowledge Jesus as God and obey His commandments, we must die to our flesh. The flesh wars against the spirit and viceversa. So to get redemption, we must die to self. . Can someone say if it is correct?

What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets?

CHRIST JESUS is the Messiah, , my Lord and my saviour. Jesus is both God and Man. He came from heaven to restore relationship with God, as human beings became alienated from God due to the sin of Adam. Prophets are humanbeings created by God. God used people to announce HisWord. Jesus Christ is the Word became flesh
