Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation? JESUS BECAME MAN IN ALL ASPECTS. SO JUST LIKE US BEING TEMPTED AND FAILING ,SOME TIMES NOT EVEN AWARE THAT WE R BEING TEMPTED, AND FAILING WHEN WE TRY TO STAND ON OUR STRENGTH. AND PROVING THAT HE IS GOD BY NOT SINNING BY ACTS AND WORDS. THIS DOES MAKE SENSE FOR HE CAME TO WORLD TO TAKEUP SINS OF THE WORLD ON HIS PURE BODY AND DIEING FOR THE SAKE OF CLEANING US.
