Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate? By forgiving sins by Jesus that paralytic is healed spiritually. The lesson Jesus trying to communicate was when a person's heart and mind is free from sin it will be easy for getting healed physically. Further Jesus wanted to show that He has the authority to forgive sins
