Why does Jesus place commandments to actively love above commandments to refrain from evil (thou shall notÃ¢€Â¦)? Note: Jesus answered with two quotations from the Jewish law about loving God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and about loving neighbors (Leviticus 19:18).

The greatest is, 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one: you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. The second is like this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Jesus taught that both believing and forgiving are key to effective prayer. Why do you think they are important?

Have faith in god,believes if we says our problem whatever we troubled.look at the problem and say that mountain taken up and cast into sea.problem will be solved.whatever you need ask him with believes will received.don't doubt in his heart..believe god have faith in him.while stand and pray we forgive our against one. heavenly father also forgiven our trangressions.
