What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? Jesus Knew his death and resurrection on third day.He,explained every thing to His desciples which they could not understand.His prediction is fulfilled.Only thing we have to understand and trust on jesus is that he sacrifeid and gave us the power of resurrection.
