Why do you think Peter denied knowing Jesus? Even if it was known that Peter was a follower of Jesus,he would not be arrested by the high priest`s servant.So that much Jesus was the central figure not only in his circle but also in Palestina at that time.Do as Peter does,in fact said Jewish peole.Then Peter became remiss.Thus he carelessly three times denied Jesus as he predicted.
