What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

First, at the time of Jesus` birth, the local Roman ruler, King Herod had initiated a massacre of all Jewish baby boys born at the time. However, Jesus was alive because he and his family were in Egypt during that time. I believe that it is the plan of God. Second, at age 10, young Jewish boys would start to learn the Jewish law. When Jesus was 12 years old, Jesus` parents found him in the temple courts, setting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. I believe that because Jesus is the Son of God. Third, in first century Israel, women were considered second-class citizens, akin to slaves. Under those conditions, avid female followers of Jesus would be allowed to follow him with his disciples, and the authors of Jesus` biographies would mention their presence at all. Upon both are unusual. From this, we can know the love and attraction from Jesus.

am listening to Prayer by Secret Garden. Sometimes beautiful music will singing in my head and there will be this light/bright/warm feeling flowing in me, even when I am dreaming. I have heard beautiful music in dreams twice, those feelings convinced me that they were from GOD.

I BELIEVE JESUS IS TRULY GOD

From the lesson, I know Jesus is a righteous man he did no sin.And he loves us mankind, so he did.He died on the cross.what he did was fulfilled the propherists.and the affect after Jesus died.
