What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was.

Immediately after Adam and Eve sinned in teh Garden God said through his prophets and leaders that he will come and it was well known that the world must expect Emmnaual/the Messiah. In fact all the Kings of the day were aware of the coming of teh Messiah. When Jesus was born the King asked the wise men where is He that was born.

The common people are praising Jesus, expecting him to become Israel`s next king. Jesus knew they would turn against him a few days later when he disappointed their expectation. Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise?
I believe in the word of God and He delivers on His promises all times. That's way, I place my complete trust in Him because His words and promises cannot change. Therefore, I am standing on the promises of God my King.

Faith cometh by hearing and believing the word of God. Bartimaeus must have heard like many others of the coming of the Messiah from the decendent of David as his geanology was clearly proven and Jesus becaome very popular for proclaiming the good news, healing people, casting out demons, restoring sight, lame walking, dumb speaking etc, but most of all Bartimaeus believeth Jesus was the Messiah and with faith made his request. Throughout the Old Testement in particularly the prophets declared of the coming of the Messiah even though some didn't believed. Bartimaeus, believed with faith and so should we.
