Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?

I think Jesus did accomplish all the purposes which he came to fulfil.... he gave the Good news to the poor, and set the captives free. He lived a life of service to humankind although he was the Greatest King who ever lived......most of the present day Kings hold high places in society and are being served and respected but Jesus was humble and many did not give him the honor he deserved yet he still stands out as the World`s GREATEST KING because his life was so full of purpose. He has given us the opportunity to live life more abundantly if we only believe and trust him and above all he died a very painful death on the cross to save us from sin . I think that as long as we continue our journey on this earth on a Christlike path we will not be disappointed because Jesus did set a wonderful foundation on which to build our lives. Why do you think all christians praise the LORD for thier achievements? Why do you think Christians forever sing God`s Praises on thier lips? Why do you think christians always come back to seek God when they have strayed from him? The answer in simple......it is because Jesus has acomplished his purposes ....he has left a so much hope for christians that even after all these centuries has passed since his life on earth....we still can still stand up with conviction and say that HE IS ALIVE AND MAY HIS NAME BE PRAISED FOREVER AND EVER!!!! Let us Love the Lord for his Greatness... let us stand up and tell the world that we have found true peace because he LIVES!!!!! Let us tell the world that Jesus has accomplished his purpose in our Hearts and Lives and everyone alive can share in such an ACCOMPLISHMENT if they will only open up thier hearts and thier minds and LET GO AND LET GOD

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

Guess The answer is simple...If we Love Jesus we will obey his commandments and by obeying his commandments we are showing our love for him.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

I would probably be speechless to think that I was actually meeting Jesus face to face for a meal. But once I regained my speech I would ask him give me a clearer understanding of what heaven is like and ask him if my life is on the right track to spending eternity with him. In a nut shell I would discuss my life and how he view me as a person. Also I would ask him to tell me all he can about himself......it would be nice to actually hear his voice answering my questions.''although he is doing that now I guess it would be alot different if he is there face to face giving us answers on the spot''
