Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus call "Love One Another " a "New commandment because it summed up the whole law and the commandments, if you Love your fellow man you are fulifilling the law, without Love we are in capable of keeping the law. As Jesus shows us Love is the key, for God so loved the world he gave he gave his only begotton son, We are to love God with all our heart,mind, soul, and the only way to do this is to Love others. We can never fully repay God for all he done for us, but we can start to repay him by loving one another just the way Jesus shows us. Lets all start today.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus called "Love One Another" new because people were not showing that love fully to each other and Jesus stress that this commandent depends on the law and the Prophets and will show all mankind that as we show this love that we are truly disciples of Christ.
