Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants?

These things are reveal in infants because they are more responsible. Meaning, as I understand, they don't react by showing off to the world the extent of their wisdome as do adults. And a child is humble with knowledge and wisdom. Their celebration is like a fulfillment, and I have observe children who are wise and knowlegeable hardly impose it.

What changes should there have been in cities like Chorazin and Bethsaida as a result of the mighty works performed by Jesus?

They needed to repent and have transformation in the cities. Repenting is a new beginning, all old things are now new.

When answering John`s question about whether He was the Christ, why did Jesus point out the results of his ministry rather than just saying yes or no?

Jesus pointed out the ministry rather than saying yes or no because that statement was more significant than yes or no. Jesus wanted his ministry established, so he saidgo see the things John was doing.
