It is alright to plan ahead, but it is wise to take one day at a time. Peter was convinced that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. Who would you sincerely be willing to die for? Someone who is loyal. Who is there thru thick and thin. Who brings joy when there is emptiness. Someone who climbs the highest mountain with you and encourage you to reach the top. Comforts and warms your heart in sorrow and in pain. Makes the impossible, possible. This is my prayer: "God give me strength to face every challenge in life, let me humble myself and give unto you my all, although I might be weak in the flesh let my will be strong. Lord I ask that you create in me a spirit that will not deny you, let me be sincere and willing to die IN THE NAME OF JESUS....Amen"

Why does Jesus consider this woman`s desire to please Jesus more important than giving to the poor? Jesus had not a long time on earth, the poor will always be with us to help, and it was an honor to this woman to anoint Jesus with this expensive oil in preparation for his burial.
