768 entries for this category: I believe the prayer was to bring an understanding to people on earth, how to pray. Laborers are essential to the harvest. "The Harvest," eternal life, is their for all, but the laborers are few. Jesus wants all of us here on earth to enter into the Kingdom, become followers and spread the Word of God: reap the harvest. So it is our duty as His Children to pray for laborers, increase the flock. He knows why we are to pray. What things can you look at to have a good eye (lamp), and thus fill your life with light instead of darkness? The Word and others that live upright.
