Jesus wanted the people to know that all thought many are told about the Kingdom of God and are invited to be with Him, they continually refuse the invitation. (a) Jesus cleared the temple that way because it was hurtful to see it being used in that manner. (b) He did it that way because the House of God is not to be used for money changing. It is a house for Prayer. Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable?

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees? The Kingdom of God was taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees because they did not accept Jesus who was the head corner stone. (The Saviour)
