Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?

In the Old Testament - there were commandments which God had given. These were of the law. God sent his son into the world - while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He loved us although we were sinners. He demonstrated His love by dying on the cross. Love is the key word. God is love. He summed up the old commandments with - Love one another. As long as you love one another, you will not steal, commit adultery, covet, take the name of the Lord in vain etc - all will be covered under love. Now others will see, recognise a difference and would want to experience God's love. When Jesus spoke with Peter in John 21:17- Peter had to make a confession with his mouth as he had denied Jesus before - he now had to confess his love. Love conquers and make the difference - A new commandment which brings a perspective

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

Sin is a burden and keeps you bound. When one has experience forgiveness of sin and read John 3 vs 16-17, and come into the understand of the sacrifice that Jesus made that we cone be forgiven of sin your love for God must increase.

Before we were born God love us- he sent His son to die for our sins. God redeemed us back to Him
