What was Jesus trying to teach about giving (amount, motive, attitute)?

Jesus was trying to teach His disciples that they should be generous in giving and to give with all your heart; not giving just for others to see or to get honor back but secretly so that Our Heavenly Father could reward us.

I guess Jesus placed Commandments of LOVE above Commandments to refrain from evil because there is POWER in LOVE. If we have LOVE in our Hearts, we conquer all evil. With LOVE in our hearts, we conquer all the rest of the commandments.

What is Jesus trying to teach with this parable? Hint: The vineyard (where grapes are grown) is Israel; The farmer is God; the servants are the prophets who were sent by God; the son is Jesus; and the tenants are religious leaders of the Jews.

I guess Jesus was trying to explain to the religious leaders that no matter who God sends on earth with His message, they, the religious leaders, refuse to accept. For all the prophets He sent was mistreated and killed even His own precious Son who represented the Cornerstone.
