When Jesus "breathed his last" and was pronounced dead; why did The Roman centurion glorify god? The centurion glorified God because he saw all that took place when Jesus died and realized that they had indeed killed God's Son. Darkness came over the whole land, the sun darkened and the veil of the temple was torn in two.

If neither Herod nor Pilate found anything worthy of death to convict Jesus of then why was he sentenced to death? Herod nor Pilate both found nothing to convict Jesus but Jesus was still sentenced to death because Pilate did not want to look less than a King. He wanted to satisfy the people.
