418 entries for this category: Jesus came for a mission, to die and rise again on the 3rd day, so Peter's rebuking Jesus was a stumbling block cuz he was trying to altered the plan of God in motion. Peter was looking at Jesus through the eyes of flesh, and allow the devil to blind him for seeing the bigger picture. How can one increase his faith to be the size of a mustard seed? (see also Luke 17:5-19) Faith the size of a mustard seed is really a small size of faith but, if its completly pure, unadulterated and its weaver not to the right nor to the left, then it can increase and with it, one can speak to a mountain to move from one point to another, and it will happen.

Why did Jesus take just Peter, James and John with Him to witness his transfiguration? Jesus took these three with Him for them to see His transfiguration because they were the most trustworthy of all and they could also trust and do what Jesus asked them to do "tell no one about what they had seen".
