418 entries for this category: The king was angry because, he had invited these ones, he had not asked them to come with anything but themselves and to come eat and share his joy in the marriage of his son. Not only did they not come but they also treated him and his servents that were sent with no respect or love that they were choosen. The point Jesus was making is that heaven is ready for us, the way has been parved and He has called us to come. But some of us are still too busy worring with the things of the world and are not ready to come to him, others came as they are but did not believe in Him and remain as they came, still others came, believe and follow in His teaching. Jesus wants us to know that though many are called to the kindgom, only few will be choosen. Those who came as they were, believe in His word and teachings, follow His commandments and precepts, change their ways and trust in Him through and through will see and enter heaven. The Kingdom of God was taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees because they failed to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ or even the very works that He did. They failed to listen and understands His teachings of the good news, instead, they were busy looking for ways to distroy Him and end His kingdom of which they claim to be looking and waiting for, yet He was with them and they knew Him not. Because they failed to follow His teachings and instructions, they could not produce fruits, they could not lead others to God and as such the kingdom was withdrawn from them and given to nations and people who were ready to bring forth their fruit.
