He gave them COMPLETE AUTHORITY OVER EVIL. 4 reasons why the crowds were following Jesus are: 1. The sick follows to receive their healing 2. The lame and blind to receive their sight and be able to work again 3. The broken hearted and the lost to receive a renewed and complete heart and the lost to receive salvation 4. The majority are spactators, some to see what Jesus will do again, others to see if He will confess that He is the son of God, still other to find a way to bring Him down. How did Jesus "equip" his disciples for powerful work by taking away their material possessions?
