How did Jesus "equip" his disciples for powerful work by taking away their material possessions?

Jesus equiped His disciples for powerful work by:cautionong them not to take anything on their journey except a staff,and that they should not take bread a wallet,no money in their purse but that they should wear only their sandals.He also told them not to put on a double tunic meaning they had to put on only one dress untill their work was finished.That is how Jesus equiped His disciples for powerful work by taking away their material possessions.

Jesus could not do a mighty work in his own town among relatives because of disbelief. What is disbelief?

Disbelief means not accepting something.In the case of Jesus despite His good teachings none of His peers accepted what He was teaching.Even when He healed and drove out demons nobody did belief.

How did the disciples

The disciples fear before the storm differed from the fear after the storm in that before the disciples did not really know with whom they were dealing.That is they had not really known who Jesus was.So for them they saw a physical storm and knew how dangerous it was for both of them.That is why they woke Jesus up to make sure that He doesn't die without knowing.To their greatest suprise Jesus gets up and rebukes the storm.So now the disciples know that they are secured and so their fear becomes less for they were saved.
