Jesus defines a great person as one who serves others. What did Jesus mean when he said he "did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."? He was the son of God. But instead of wanting people to serve him he humbled himself by becoming human and show others how to love and serve others and mostly he was humble enough to give his life so that our sins should be forgiven and so that we might have eternal life.
