Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him?

I THINK IF WE ARE IN THAT SAME SITUASTION IT WOULD BE DIFFICULTE FOR US TO LEAVE EVERYTHING AND FOLLOW JESUS LIKE HIS DISCIPLES.

To learned about Jesus's childhood and how His father Joseph and Mary were so Protective over Him as a child,They moved to Nazareth when they heard that Herod'son Archelaus is going to reigning in Judea.Think they took approperate decision to move away under the rulership of King Herod of the Roman Empire.
