What are the benefits and disbenefits (costs) of worrying?

When you worry about what you will eat or wear it is not importand. The most importand guide is seek for God's Kingdome where your heart will find peace and rest, the rest of the things God know's what you really need.

Why does Jesus describe to his disciples how disobedient, ignorant and lazy servants are punished by their master, and how obedient, alert and active servants are given greater authority?

The word of Jesus says:- if you lesson and obay my rules. When ever you ask and what ever you ask in the name of Jesus Christ you will get it. As the most of us dont obay his rules we ask forever and nothing we get. That is the Master Jesus is talking about.

What "division" did Jesus intend to bring between people?

This is the hard one to answer. He wanted peace but because we dont lesson and we dont want peace. He came to throw fire on us.
