Why do you think the Samaritans called Jesus the Savior of the world?
they called JESUS saviour of the world because of what JESUS talked about and the way that HE spoke and probably also what the woman told them had happened to her.

Define "Compassion"?

Compassion first existed in the heart of God long before Jesus His Son came onto the scene. The pitiful state of affairs in the world and the peoples inability to please God through righteous living, ushered in God's Mercy, Grace, and unfailing Love.

This is clearly demonstrated through the works of Jesus Christ, God's Son. Jesus tells us that He came not to do His own will, but the will of God who sent him. God's love for us knows no limit. Did He not send HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON who knows no sin, to die for us who are sinners through heritage. Jesus' life here on earth was not only to show the way to the Father, but to show all people irrespective of ethnicity that love is possible, and that love can move mountains, do the impossible, and above all, move God to action, for such is the power of a man's fervent prayer. Yes, compassion existed before man came into being. God's desire to heal us sinners and to make us whole and complete is clearly revealed through the mighty works of His Son Jesus Christ. We are to understand that the scriptures speak of no discrimination and that He willingly healed everyone who came to him of their infirmities (The diseased, the crippled, the blind, the deaf, the demon possessed, young and old, he had compassion on those who mourned their dead, and He the Lord Jesus Christ spoke life and the dead became alive. The overflow and outpouring of God's Love and compassion for us sinners lead Jesus to lay down His life once and for all time for us. Our spiritual and physical needs weighed heavily upon him, as He, like a lamb being lead to the slaughter, and without uttering a word in His defense, willing took upon himself our every Past, Present, and Future sin. His redemptive work on the Cross at Calvary won for us Healing, forgiveness of sin, entrance into the throne room, and the most precious gift of salvation. All Glory to God Jesus Christ, Amen.
