In what way is Jesus still with us always? How can we be assured of Hi s presence?

Jesus is wiith us, now and for always in different ways, in my opinion:

The Holy spirit is our constant inner companion, constantly whispering wisdom, warnings and truths to our soul through the passage of our own conscience.

He is present, every day through our thoughts, prayer - talking to Him. Reading His Word.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Because Jesus experience the same things/feelings that we are as human beings had.

What is more ideal?- to pay your tith while there is some one who dearly need your financial help, or to help a person in need at the expenses of paying your tith. ???
