Judas acted independently by betraying the innocent son of God Jesus Christ thereby gaining nothing apart from having no peace of mind as he felt remorse. Glory to God as this was done to fulfill the old testament prophets concerning Jesus.

What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus? Peter was made afraid to identify himself with Jesus because He was afraid to face death together with Jesus. Satan entered in the heart of Peter and His action was in flesh which made him to please men than God. The devil blinded Him and he could not remeber the good days he hard with Jesus. Even today, many people hide , they do not want to show up themselves that they belong to Jesus for fear of persecution and death. Satan has blinded alot of beleivers today and they can't realise and remember the sacrife of Jesus on the cross.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God? The high Priest, scribes and the elders did not find falt in Jesus but they falsely gave testomies against Him with the intention to kill Him. They took it as a blasphemy because Jesus claimed to have all powers and that they ( Priest,scribes & elders) will see Him sitting at the right hand of God. The hight Priest and his friends were afraid of losing leadership positions because they thought that Jesus undermined them by passing through withought any consultation to them. Jesus agreed to build the Temple(His body) in three days after its destruction. Therefore , Jesus is the life giver------------- "He can do it if you believe Him" . Amen!!!
