We are assured of Jesus' s presence when we allow Him to enter into our hearts and be our personal saviour who will give us power and all our needs including life in its fulness " John 1 Vs 12" John 10 Vs 10". Through the power ( the Holy Spirit), the belivers are able to witness to the end of the age " Acts 1 Vs 8" . Mark 16 Vs 15 -18. Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth.

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out? The elders did not want the true story of Jesus to come out because they were afraid of being classfied as failure to guard Jesus by the governor. They knew that if people know that Jesus has ressurected, they will lose their intergrit and will be undermined by the people as they did not believe in life after death. They tried to persuade even the Sodiers ( gaurds) with money to say that Jesus was stolen by the disciple so that they and the Sodiers are free from worries because a punishement will come as a failure to guard the body of Jesus out of the tomb.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today? The ressurection of Jesus is the source of hope because one is assured of life after death. Jesus overcomed death which gives much assurance that what He said about enternal life is true. This is the source of hope as one with Jesus in heart is given power to becomes a child of God (John 1 Vs 12) at the same time given life in its fulness " John 10 Vs 10". We a serving the living God. Amen!!!
