Suffering is the physical, earthly sufferings we endure on earth which we don't suffer no longer in heaven, hunger and poverty are the spiritual hunger and poverty where we seek more to eat spiritually for the satisfaction on earth. Can you think of examples where Jesus modeled this radical teaching? Jesus died on the cross as a model of his teaching. He has powers to reverse the crucifixion but he accepted it as an example to fulfill his teachings in him. He was insulted, tortured but did nothing in retaliation as humans will do.

Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)? Jesus was setting an example to the Jews that it is not the touch of someone that is the disease contraction alone since the Jews believed lepers are not supposed to be together with people.
