What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"? Jesus knew that His followers would be killed after him when they preach about his names. He was saying to them that whenever you feel the fear of death because of mentioning his name as the son of God who came to redeem the whole world. Jesus meant that those who would courageously proclaim his names without fear of death would save their spiritual life in the life after death.

What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets? The 'Christ' is the ONE all the Prophets and Prophetess had been talking about to come and redeem the world and lead the people of God to His Kingdom.

Why do you think Jesus brought the man outside the village before performing the miracle? He did not want to show off that he heals people at that specific time since his time was not yet at hand.
