because Jesuses's plan in this world is not doing miracle but to save human beings from eternal death  and  miracle is the thing he does for  his pepole secondly,  if he only depend on curing our flesh we may lost the main thing(the eternal life )  Jesuse knows for whom to do miracle  and others.  when we come to the event done in this chapter for this man  Jesuse plan were not  gathering disples by making miracle, if he did this so many pepoles can follow him but,  they follow him  because the miracle  and God's plan were not this peoples shold follow Jesuse because of the love he have for the whole world  and we all are learning this  to not follow Jesuse for the thing he made for us  (for materinal thing)  but for the everlating love and life
