In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?

Since JESUS Birth he served by:"Doing HIS Fathers Will. Jesus healed the sick and injured, raised the dead, taught valueable lessons, rid bodies of demons, and performed many miracles and teachings to help people live a joyful existence in accordance with God's will. He bore injury, humiliation, pain,suffering and death for the salvation of mankind. Jesus continues to be the exemplary role model for how Christians are meant to live. For those that accept Him as Lord and Savior, He guides in our lives the way God wants His children to live. CHRIST serves through each of us Believers in HIM & holyspiert.

Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die?

B/c the disciples can not be confiused by the death Jesus & preparing the disciples for His departure from earth.
